{"id":2104,"date":"2022-05-16T15:09:48","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T13:09:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.because.law\/?post_type=team&#038;p=2104"},"modified":"2022-11-30T09:58:36","modified_gmt":"2022-11-30T08:58:36","slug":"giorgio-groppi","status":"publish","type":"team","link":"https:\/\/www.because.law\/en\/team\/giorgio-groppi\/","title":{"rendered":"Giorgio Groppi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Giorgio is managing director and member of the Board of Directors of BE CAUSE.<\/p>\n<p>He started his professional career at Bonelli Erede (from 2004 to 2015) and then moved to Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici (from 2015 to 2021) where he was mainly involved in corporate and capital markets department, following numerous and notable mergers, acquisitions and other extraordinary transactions (IPOs, takeover bids, capital increases, joint ventures, etc.) for listed and unlisted companies as well as for private equity funds.<\/p>\n<p>Giorgio graduated magna cum laude in 2002 in Business and Economics from the Universit\u00e0 Luigi Bocconi University in Milan and, again magna cum laude, in 2004 in Law from the Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. He also holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from New York University Law School (2009).<\/p>\n<p>Proud father of Lea and Giacomo, a one-handed backhand, 3-time NYC Marathon finisher, Giorgio has been admitted to practice law in Italy (in 2007) and in NY State (in 2009).
